gollfy 0 Posted November 7, 2007 Hello all, Just noticed a patch of fluid under my car :( , seems to be coming from the clutch slave cylinder. I had one fitted about a year ago :( If I have fluid leaking from there, does this mean I need another one? or a new seal? Thanks all
ziderapple 0 Posted November 7, 2007 As far as I know you have to replace the whole thing. Not expensive reallyt. Remeber that fluid is your break fluid too.

dr_mat 0 Posted November 8, 2007 (I think it's only VW engine components that carry 2 yr warranty actually.)
Roger Blassberg 0 Posted November 8, 2007 If it's less than a year old I am sure that you are covered by the Sale of Goods Act if it has failed in normal service. Regards RB

Supercharged 2 Posted November 8, 2007 I think it's only VW engine components that carry 2 yr warranty actually Nope - TPS have been advertising this heavily - it includes everything with a few wear and tear exceptions, best bit about it is that if you do get a part fail VAG will also cover the labour no matter who fitted it.
