mattnorgrove 0 Posted November 15, 2007 OK, any ideas on what to try to solve my current problem, as ever greatly appreciated. :D Whenever i return to the car after a long or short run, every window, tailgate included, is covered with condensation on the inside, literally dripping down the glass. It probably takes about an hour to fully cover the windows, but after 10 mins or so its well on its way. Has anyone else suffered this? The problem has been compounded the past couple of mornings due to the frost. The inside of the screen has been sheeted in ice! I'm thinking door/tailgate seals, or maybe the membranes inside the doors? Or are there seals that wear out around the heater motor maybe? Cheers all! :)
Supercharged 2 Posted November 15, 2007 Yeah you need to have a good look at all the seals, glass, trim etc... there is a KB guide to changing the leaf gaurd seal than me and yan did... Also check the badges at the rear for missing clips / blue grommets - this usually only affects the rear screen but you wouldn't believe the amount of water than can get in! mattnorgrove 0 Posted November 15, 2007 Cheers for that, just had a good search through old posts  and found some other ideas to try out too... I'll be following the KB guide on Sunday I reckon... Happy days! :D
zax 0 Posted November 23, 2007 Dont suppose you could point me in the direction of those posts too? I've got damp in the rear passenger side headlining thats causing a lot of condensation. Ive looked around but cant see anywhere obvious where water could be getting in. All the seals look fine and theres no damp anywhere else in the car, just this rear top corner. Any help or suggestions of posts to read would make me very happy!

zax 0 Posted November 23, 2007 small problem, no sunroof...! :) Think i remember the previous owner saying something about fitting a new arial though... one thing that i didnt check. Thanks for the thought though seeing as it sparked the idea about the arial! :)
