mamboman 0 Posted December 7, 2007 Howdy all - having issues with the fuel demand in my G60. I must have picked up a nasty fuel batch from my local Tesco but the car is lurching all over the place, the idling is all over the place as is the fuel gauge when the tank is low on gas. I filled up with some Super Unleaded and that seemed to sort the problem however as the fuel level dipped below a quarter of a tank the lurching started up again. I reckon it's either water in the fuel or a piece of black oxide stuck in the fuel filter. Car is back with the garage..again, after a less than pleasing experience with a 'new' starter motor. It had to be replaced under warranty with a new new one. Anyone had similar problems with intermitent fuel blockage? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Walesy 0 Posted December 7, 2007 It'd be worth changing the fuel filter first anyway mate, they're not expensive and i've had alot of rados on over 100k miles with the original fuel filter on, for some reason they don't seem to be changed by many people.
