carpy25 0 Posted December 16, 2007 you have to make the outer longer , on the engine end theres a white piece that goes through a rubber grommit with a nut type end and a grooved sleve pull the sleve back to the right until all the slack is almost gone from the cable then theres a little clip ( called and "e" clip ) that clicks into one of the grooves , it more than likely still on your old cable ,start the car and check its not to tight and is holding the revs up if so move the clip closer the the nut end ie the right Rob Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
