torque settings for vr32 engine rod&mains&sump

HI All.

 

Would anyone know the torque settings for nov 2004 vr32 3.2L engine

 

Require torque settings for:

Sump bolts

Connecting rod caps

Crankshaft main bearing caps

 

Reagards

HI.

 

 

Okay ,will ask another question, do vr32 3.2L engine connecting rod bolts need replacing once undun as per vr6 engine connecting rod bolt.

Hello, not many R32 owners on here (at least not many who have done any serious engine work)

 

If your doing stuff this critical I would really recommend you just buy the correct engine manual from VW / ErWin etc.

Thanks for your reply, yea owner was meant to sort for me, going to treat as per manual for vr6, will leave the big end bearing inspection alone, will just have to check crankshaft shells, its only, as the sump pans been damaged,not knowing if engine has run with no oil, sump had to come off for: either replacement,or, but probably ,end up repairing old unit, as time is short and want engine sealed back up.
