lee_golf_v5 0 Posted January 29, 2008 had my vr6 since saturday and i love it, i let my manager drive it today who had a 2.0 16v years ago and he seemed to think my accelerator cable needed greasing/replacing..... since i picked it up i just thought that was how the pedals were, i mean theres alot of power in the engine and it didnt phase me, should i replace the cable for peace of mind? if so how much could this set me back at a reasonable local garage? steve @ 0 Posted January 29, 2008 The corrado VR6 pedal is stiff yes due to the throttle body's dual spring set up. I run a golf VR6 BBT (enlarged throttle) which only has the one spring and is alot softer. Nothing to worry about.
lee_golf_v5 0 Posted January 29, 2008 So it is just him not being used to it, and myself for that matter? I am due to put it in for a check-up soon, but he made it sound like an urgent matter and I was kinda worried for a sec, but if thats the way it is then cool!
