Which gearbox for 16v/g60???

Just building a 16v g60 engine, got a 1.8 16v box and a g60 box, which should i use?

 

16v box is an AGC code, have access to 2l 8v passat box aswell

Go with the mk III Golf diesel gearbox code CTN, big thread about it on here somewhere and best for modded G60 in terms of tractability and rev range.

cant source 1 in time, need to decide between 16v or g60 box, think the g60 has slightly longer 1st and 2nd?

think ive just sourced a CTN on mainland but not that far away 8)

both g60 and 16v have stupidly short first gears, so completely untractable for your project imho.
