ECU swap

So I got another ECU that has a different chip in it. Would it work if I just plugged that one straight in and pulled the old one out, or should I actually go and swap the chips?

 

I've already checked it and the second ECU works and is from a G60 Corrado.

I don't think the pin out positions ever changed on a g60,so u should just be able to swap out the whole unit.
