oil change Help!

I dont believe bloody Listers. I rushed up to get an oil filter and some oil this morning before they closed, got home drained the oil, removed the filter etc. On opening the new filter it is different. Can someone confirm what I alreay fear that I cannot use this. The code on the old filter is 021115561A and the new is 021115561B. If my suspisions are correct I wont be getting to work on monday!

Please can someone help.

hi

mine had a plastic one but thats what i took out , so thats what i put back and it service history was all v.a.g , so i really have not been much help my cars a 94 vr if it has any bearing on the matter :D
