What's my storm worth ????

Recommended Posts

Guys,

due to buying a new house, I have to sell my Storm :( as I need the cash to go towards the house deposit.

As such I need to sell it quickly.

Its a 1995 N Reg in Metallic Green with the cream leather interior.

It's done 73K with full service history from Dealer and VW specialist although it is due a service.

It has 8 Months MOT and Tax.

It's in excellent condition and has no mods apart from the upgraded headlight loom.

There is a very slight dent in the passenger door caused by some over enthusiastic kid with a football that

should easily be popped out.

I'm hoping for £6k for it - what do you reckon ?????

Shouldn't be a problem getting 6k I don't think, stick to your guns though, I sold my G40 recently and ended up getting more than I wanted because I held out.

Sounds pretty decent, but to get top money you'd be better getting the door sorted and the service done

I know, but I haven't really got the time to get it sorted.

I suppose I'd be happy with £5,500.

Generaly we don't encorage this type of 'whats my C worth?' thread as it can be seen as way of getting around the selling guidelines! The easiest thing to do is put a for sale ad up in the normal way and gauge the interest, adjusting your asking price if need be... seems like you already have a fair idea on what you'd like anyway!

You shouldn't have much of a problem selling as the weather is begining to get a bit better, prices seem to be picking up a little and your Storm has nice low miles! :)

Best of luck selling and also with the new house!
