Supercharged Junkie 0 Posted March 29, 2008 Hi, replacing some vacuum hoses on my G60 and just want to make sure i get the right size. I know the vacuum hose between the TB and ECU has to be 1m but what ID is it? 3 or 3.5mm also looking at EKTA, it states the vacuum hose between the inlet manifold and FPR has to be 100mm, but doesn`t say what ID? Thanks for any help Ian
Supercharged 2 Posted March 29, 2008 Yeah ETKA assumes you buy that part which I am fairly sure is 3.2mm ID like most other VW vac pipes - this one has a white tracer. It's about £4 from any dealer and they should have a roll in stock, don't trust them to measure it tho! Also don't use silicon as it can collapse. Supercharged Junkie 0 Posted March 31, 2008 Well, Went to replace the vacuum pipe from the inlet manifold to the fpr and found the cause of my sluggish performance i have been having recently There was a great big split in the rubber pipe i had on there replaced it with some VAG vacuum pipe and Wow its back to normal :) It must of been running well lean, feels so much more responsive now  it's 3.5mm id m8 not 3.2 Yeah, i thought that!
