not the useuall stalling(VR)

this is happening under normal driving, the darn thing cuts out (30 mph), on restart i have to keep blippin it just to keep it running, turn it off and on a few times and off we go, like i say, its not the normal, up to the lights, stall jobby, very odd, any ideas chaps?

my first thoughts would be to check the ECU power relay (109..?? i think...), or the fuel pump relay...

maybe even have a look at the contacts or reseat them...

Replace the two relays as a starter, they're not expensive and this rules them out. I've been through pretty much every cutting out issue with mine and overlooked the obvious (the relays).

Yep, check out those relays. Also worth changing the ignition switch- make sure you get one from VW though.

I would also check/replace the blue water temp sender on the front of the engine.
