andygal 0 Posted April 10, 2008 Hey, Iv got a 1994 VR6 and the sunroof motor packed in on it. Replaced that and it will tild fine but when you go to open it it will only slide about 10mm before the motor cuts out (sounds like a limiter or something cutting it out). You can open the sunroof and close it by pressing the switch over and over and opening it 10mm at a time. Anyone have any idea whats up?? colsy 0 Posted April 10, 2008 sounds like you might have a tight setup, can you access the runners to clean/grease? sound to me like your motor is overloading & tripping out, bcos you have reached the motors thermal capacity (to hot!!), it shuts down before any damage is done, by the time you go to press the swich again its had time to cool slightly and you get another surge until it trips again....the cycle continues!!! just my 10pence worth!! best of luck! do these systems have anti-trap anyone?
