G60 Problem, Please help!!

Recommended Posts

Hay people, just seeing if anyone can help me, I have a Corrado G60 1991, the engine was rebuilt 8 months ago into a 1.9, reground crank, fast road cam etc....

It was running fast and fine but recently i have been getting a problem, it feels like the car is holding back and today a load of pops and bangs came out the exhast with so much black smoke when i chaged into 3rd and felt like it was about to die but went into the wierd unpowerful feel like the was a gale force wind against it and holding back.

Iv changed the plugs, dizzy cap, rotor arm, ignition coil and have uprated leads but still the same problem, iv also had the timing checked and the crank pully and its fine!

Can any one help me at all?

Thanks

Paul
