Dec 1 Posted May 12, 2008 Found a nice bulge in mine when I went to bleed the circuit yesterday. This one: part no. 357721465A According to Vagcat it's a common corrado part for all years + engines, but I cant seem to find anywhere that sells them! The dealers is a bit of trek away and a pain in the butt to deal with when there, so would prefer not to have to make the trip a couple of times for the sake of a small hose! So, anyone know of anywhere else that they can be got? Or anyone have one in good nick available on a breaker etc?
Supercharged 2 Posted May 12, 2008 VAG only really unless you get your current one copied... you will need all the seals etc to go with it... Best to maybe give GPC a call and get them to send it over
blackcorrado 0 Posted May 20, 2008 i need one of these too..
ProdigalSon 1 Posted May 20, 2008 I would be wary of one of these off a breaker - the rubber is perishable and all second-hand parts will be roughly the same age (>12 years), so you shouldn't really expect much additional life from a second-hand part... Seems as though several of these have failed recently from the rubber becoming weakened/porous (including my old hose). Will try to find the receipt from the VAG replacement I got back in Feb, to give an idea of current dealer price - VAGCAT is showing 32 Euros (24 quid?). thegolfman 0 Posted April 6, 2015 BUMP. 8 years later, did anyone manage to find a brake hose from another car that fits? Mine has a bulge in it, and dread to think what TPS want if its not obsolete.

thegolfman 0 Posted April 6, 2015 If you get stuck mate I have a spare one I might take you up on this if I can't get one sorted. Surely there must be a part on the shelf that fits, or even a braided version?

krime 10 Posted April 6, 2015 And why not? Is it ok for a fluid brake? It's probably that works ok!

thegolfman 0 Posted April 6, 2015 (edited) Yep that'll work. Pretty sure the Mk2 G60 will use same lines as Corrado. I'll get one of them next week and let you know :thumbleft: Edit/Emailed them to check first haha. Edited April 6, 2015 by thegolfman
