startup problem

hello. Well sorry if I use invented - words :camp:

 

I own a KR and some times has starting up problems. At first, it seems it works at 3 cilynders, and after 10-12seconds, wow, it works well.

 

It usually happens when engine's oil's temperature is between 122 and 176

Hi

The oil temp cant be 176f when you start it frst time.

What is the mileage?

Does it rev high when you start first thing ?

It could be a lot of things. As for the temp sensors there are 3 spade connectors near the dizzy. The wires can be swapped.

the mileage is 14,000 since the engine was rebuilt.

well, mine, starts like 'TRAC - TRAC - TRAC - TRAC- TRAC" for about 10 seconds (in which I have to maintain the accelerator pedal), then, suddenly, stops doing this sh

Mine normally turns over and fires okay, but then it may run on 3 cylinders for 30 secs or so,

 

bit of right boot blippage normally sorts it. 8)

 

No idea about your problem sorry.
