KADVR6 0 Posted May 21, 2008 i have had a quick search, but can peeps with a vr6 that kept on stalling tell me how they stopped theres stalling?? the car in question is my brothers, we have changed plugs/leads/lambda sensor so far. as these are fairly cheap to replace. i cant swap ECU/MAF over as mine are different to he's. :( the car will stall for no reason at all, there is no pattern as to why it will stall also :? there appears to be no loose/broken hoses in the engine bay either any info/tips are very much appreciated. karl + lee
peanut 0 Posted May 21, 2008 Have you changed/cleaned the isv?
KipVR 1 Posted May 21, 2008 Reminds me of the days when mine was cutting out for no apparent reason a few years ago when I went round corners quickly :nono: , it turned out my keys were swinging turning the ignition off! Other reasons mine has been stalling over the years are Cam sensor breaking down fuel pump on its way out Immobilizer/never really found out.
diggerbucket 0 Posted May 21, 2008 Mine has twice gone down the stalling route, first time it was the blue temp sensor on front of the engine, then it was the MAF. The MAF was constant stalling, the blue temp sensor was totally random and would also sometimes make it hard to take the throttle.
