2.8 and 2.9 inlet manifolds - how do you tell the difference

Is there a difference between the above two?? Have purchased 2 manifolds on the cheap from the bay of e that were advertised without specifics! Any way of finding out - and are they likely to be OBD1 or OBD2 or does it matter?
