n3p 3 Posted June 2, 2008 Hi guys, There probably is info on this somewhere, but my search yielded nothing satisfactory :( My drivetrain overhaul is almost finished, so I'm planning on engine work after. Initially I had considered an abf bottom end, but found it wouldn't fit under an early bonnet, so 9A seems to be an option. I was wondering what the average power gain would be from this combination? The engines seem go for around the £300 mark (fleabay!), so I was wondering if it would be worth it. 1.8 16v btw Also, bonus question - Gas flowed head. Worth it for cost?
