MonkeyVR6 0 Posted July 7, 2008 Hello chaps, Was checking out my brakes today and someone I know has a spare set of 'Audi S2' front calipers and I'm led to believe they are an easy direct-replacement for my Corrado? I've got a 1995 Corrado VR6. I'm never going to up the power from standard and I'm never going to change from the standard 15" Speedline alloys. I'm told the Audi S2 front calipers have more 'bite' than the standard Corrado items, but what sort of price should I be looking at paying for them, also and probably more importantly, can I use standard Volkswagen VR6 brake pads with them? By the way, I went to Volkswagen today and bought some front brake pads for the car - they were 89 Euros! :shocked!:
chimo 0 Posted July 8, 2008 From what I remember they are a strait swap, they're a dual piston caliper vs our single. They use the same carrier. Prices vary all over the map for these. I assume you'd have to use audi pads, but not sure.
