balboa 0 Posted July 14, 2008 Hi all----i have a mk2 golf with a 2.9 vr6 lump----engine has been in the car for around 3 years ----and since the birth ive always used quantum gold oil------should i continue using this or are there any others i should try out that may be better?? thanks in advance!!! cheers!! Jim 2 Posted July 14, 2008 I'd suggest the search for further questions on oil as this question has been asked many, many times :) But lots of folks here use the Synta Gold for their VR's - if it's working ok for you so far, i'd say keep using it.
