donnyburger 0 Posted July 15, 2008 Hi guys. I have a Corrado VR6, and have an oil leak from what looks like from the nuts under the sensors on top of the oil filter housing. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, if it is common, and the best way to fix it, I don't wish to top it up every morning for the drive to work, as it's only a couple of miles, and around £5! Cheers
Supercharged 2 Posted July 15, 2008 Just change the sender - they go between the spade and the resin with age / heat - I'd do it fairly quickly as you can loose a lot of oil as they get worse, especially on the pressure side!
donnyburger 0 Posted July 15, 2008 So it wont be the nuts eh? Which senders are they, and are they VAG only? Thanks, BTW.
paul20v 0 Posted July 15, 2008 theres 2 oil pressure switches and the oil temp switch , you can get them elsewhere but i would get genuine , a lot of factors etc get confused with the high and low pressure oil switches .
