chrishill 0 Posted December 4, 2003 After getting my new exhaust I had a problem with the engine vibrating under hard acceleration in low gears and the downpipes (correct term?) from the manifold hitting some part of the steering/suspension (i think). I took it back to the place i got the exhaust from and they reshaped it as much as they could, which reduced the problem massivly, but i still get vibration when i boot it in 1st. I was wondering if a new, uprated engine mount would fit the problem? as i understand it they can pretty much eliminate engine movement. Any recomendations and ideas on prices? dr_mat 0 Posted December 4, 2003 OEM engine mounts don't usually allow the engine to move far enough to foul other bits of the engine bay... You might just need NEW mounts, whatever type they may be.
