sprinterVR6 0 Posted October 20, 2008 I've an Audi S3 (1999) and I'm experiencing the same droning noise from the rear. Car was stood up for quite a few months. It's audible from about 16 or 18mph, then increasingly loud up to motorway speed. The noise seems to oscilate (not sure if that means anything different to 'iceviolets' issue).
