jonnyoutram 0 Posted August 18, 2008 hi i have been doing allot of research in the search box thingy.. but didnt quite get how you adjust the gear linkage on the gear box side?? has anyone got a link the pic's explaining it?? i have had a fiddle with both the adjusters and i think its getting better but i really want to eliminate the problem im having with reverse and 1'st completely. THATKS!!!!
Supercharged 2 Posted August 18, 2008 You sure it's the linkage and not the hydraulic system starting to fail? If the bite point is moving closer to the floor then it will cause the above!
loopylindsay 0 Posted August 18, 2008 hey i had this problem then i had a problem with 1st and 2nd theres a post on here but it was circlip and my reverse doesnt crunch anymore either
jonnyoutram 0 Posted August 19, 2008 i have checked the cir clip and its fine, i read your posts from your problem and some others. i have been fiddling with the linkage and i think its helping.. it feels like the problem is with the push down part to get into reverse.. i will check where the biting point is now... the clutch release bearing is making a noise when in neutral... i dont suppose that would suggest anything?? thanks guys :D
