Adz The Rat 0 Posted August 31, 2008 Right had a problem with the car this weekend. Set off to the lakes yesterday, in the 4th lane of the M6 just before where it joins M55 and suddenly lost all power. Managed to get it across all 4 lanes onto the shoulder safely, tried starting it and it turned over fine but just wouldnt start. Exactly same symptoms and last time when the crank sensor failed (3 months ago) So rang AA and they said same thing, seems like crank sensor again. So towed it to Em's and we went lakes in the Golf. Came back to the VR today, tried starting it and battery was completely flat, couldnt even open door with remote. That is strange as it has never ever had any battery problems.
