sniff my diff 0 Posted September 23, 2008 Hi i own a 1995 corrado 2L 8v engine code 2E. it idles eraticly and also incresed idle.its not missing as such just wont idle at a steady rev. i got the fault codes checked. 1 fault- Throttle potentiometer faulty. I replaced this sensor with a new one and cleared the fault. the engine still runs the same.i have since changed the air flow meter, idle control valve, lambda sensor, coolant temp sensor, plugs and leads, and still havent found the fault,was wondering if any one can trow a bit of light on this problem. i read in a vw manual that the throttle potentiometer needs to be matched to the ecu. would this be my problem? any help greatly appreciated.
