dodge 0 Posted October 8, 2008 hello there, can anyone tell me if there is a diagnostic plug on a 1.8 16v kr, i had a problem with fluctuating idle and a sparky said the 2 plugs should be under the trim around the handbrake, we found a black 2 pinned one but he said there should be a white one next to it, i stripped out most of the trims but cant find anything .thanks. CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted October 8, 2008 that plug will be a positive and negitive for a diagnostic port and the other is the signal line if you had it...,dont ask why they have them on as i dont know, mabey when abs came in or the two litre motor so it was added into the loom for later cars...??? as for your problem, chech for air leaks between the throtle body and metering head first. boost monkey 0 Posted October 8, 2008 Yeah, there's no diagnostics for the early valvers mate! Think your electrician is smokin the good stuff.
