bimonslick 0 Posted October 15, 2008 Hi all, another problem! When turning right all ok, however when turning left i get a high pitched whuuring sound! Any ideas? Wheel bearing perhaps? Also when i brake it pulls to the right and i am thinking that perhaps there is a problem with one of the brake calipers as had same sort of problem on my mini. Any info cheers Si (corrado owner for 1 week now :D )
stevef182 0 Posted October 15, 2008 sounds like a wheel bearing to me! luckily not too bad to sort out. re:pulling to the right, does it only do it when your braking?
bimonslick 0 Posted October 15, 2008 Cheers for the info. As for the pulling to the right i think its mostly when braking but will check later. Si
boost monkey 0 Posted October 15, 2008 could be a braking imbalance i.e. caliper issue. ditto wheel bearing for the noise though.
bimonslick 0 Posted October 15, 2008 Ok! Strange! The whurring sound was to do with the heater! Changed the setting and due to it not blowing so hard it was quieter and so turned off the heater and no sound.... strange. Planning on checking the brake calipers this weekend so will keep you all posted. Also been told that one of my wheels is almost had it. So will be looking for some new wheels soon. boost monkey 0 Posted October 15, 2008 you could use the spare wheel you know  something major will break on your car soon enough and you'll really wish you hadn't bought new wheels!
