carpoid 0 Posted October 18, 2008 Does the G60 Corrado have the same front discs a Seat Cupra ? If so what year model Seat is the same ? I'm having trouble getting front discs here, as no other VW has the 280mm discs. VW want $150 each and can take up to 4 weeks to get them. To confuse things more, i'm converting to 5x100, using VR6 outer CV's, hubs, bearings and rear rotors. I've been told that the VR6 front discs won't work because the offset is different, so the best thing is to redrill the 4x100 discs like this .... viewtopic.php?p=657169#657169 Any thoughts guys ? Would be much appreciated ! Matt
GlosterOx 0 Posted October 18, 2008 Matt, Not sure if they will fit but the Seat Ibiza/Cordoba (Approx 1996-1999) 2.0 16V uses 5 hole 280mm x 22mm thk discs which is same as the VR6 - Might be worth looking at? Won't Mk3 Golf VR6 discs fit as well? Ian :D
carpoid 0 Posted October 18, 2008 Thanks for that Ian, I think the offset is different on the early VR6 Golf discs but i'm not certain. Its funny, someone told me the Seats are 4x100 ? Its hurting my brain !
BigTartanJudge 0 Posted October 20, 2008 Seat Ibiza Cupra are 4x100PCD 280mm discs, Ibiza Cupra R are 4x100PCD 305mm Brembo discs / calipers.
Supercharged 2 Posted October 21, 2008 Hi MAtt - I *think* you can get 5x100 discs off an early Passat that is not plus suspension that will give you the same offset as the G60 ones...
