sixpotter 0 Posted November 2, 2008 My 94 VR is in need of discs and pads, Wouldnt mind getting some better ones, same size but the standard ones have always squeeked like hell! I have some green stuff EBCs on my mk2 which seem pretty good with low dust too... comments please.. cheers
chazrad 0 Posted November 2, 2008 Do a bit of a search. I'm sure this has been covered before, but I reckon you will struggle to find a definitive answer, as no one can honestly say they have tried all combinations, and thus give a truly objective answer. My 2p: I used to like Pagid fast road pads with (280mm) standard discs, but I'm not sure you can get them anymore. EBC's are ok, but think about the red stuff pads for more serious use, I reckon. Leonard 0 Posted November 2, 2008 Red stuff defo, not green..... Red stuff work really well with std discs and uprated brake lines IMO
Neil VR6 0 Posted November 4, 2008 The Corrado is too heavy really for Greens - they melt a little too easily.
sparks 0 Posted November 14, 2008 got diamonds discs and preadtor pads with braided hoses and dot 4 plenty for fast road no good for tracks days as you need to spec up hotter pads
