20vtvw 0 Posted November 22, 2008 thanks hope gearing is a little longer as my 20v revs at 4-500 at 70mph making it a bit thirsty.,

Lufbramatt 0 Posted November 22, 2008 on both the o2a boxes ive had in my passat (both boxes were originally in passats) 70 has been about 3500 rpm in 5th.
20vtvw 0 Posted November 22, 2008 sounds good i will give it a go,,i think the diff is on its way out on mine thats the main reason for a change ,,cant afford 6 speed yet!! thanks for the help.,
Lufbramatt 0 Posted November 25, 2008 checked on way home this morning, on current box (CTM code from a mk4 Passat ABF engine) 70mph=3000rpm in 5th. cant find ratios for this box anywhere, but itll do 85mph in 3rd which is fun for coming off sliproads behind chav wagons hehehe
