ABS Pump on a vr: any one changed one before

Spoke to a mate of mine about a problem with my abs, he believes its the abs pump that is gone but its getting checked out tommorow, he is considering changing it himself but has heard it is very difficult to do, so have any of you ever changed one before or any one have links on how to etc etc

 

any help will be much apreciated
