mikepppp 0 Posted December 5, 2008 Hi, I only got my car on wednesday and it cut out today i think it might be the idoler valve but am not to sure. When driving the car it does seem to idol ok normally around 900 but i did notice ocastionally about 1200, also it has bounce between the two, so nothing major. When driving the car at lunch time today i was going round a mini roundabout and put the clutch down like normal, when i let off the clutch the engine had died, so stalled with the clutch down, the car then started fine and drove ok. On the way home from work it was ok but i thought i would see what it was idoling at so held the clutch down whilst doing about 30 and the engine would have cut out if i hadn't given throttle. Was wondering if anyone think it could be the valve? Cheers Mike
