How to swap passat handle pins for Corrado handle pins?

Swear I've seen a how to on how to swap corrado door pins to passat handles, does anyone know where it is as I've tried searching for ages. :(

What do you mean handle pins? The hook shaped pins that operate the locks? or the pins in the B pillar that the door locks too?

Yeah I'm not sure what you mean either so can't even suggest a thread to look at.

 

Anyway, moving to Exterior.

Think he means the hooked type pin on the handle like toad says. I have not heard of anyone doing it, it seems quite impossible to get them away from the plastic of the handle itself

Use a self tapping screw to screw into the end of the roll pin that the hook pivots on then pull it out with the screw.

 

Buy one of dave 16vs handle repair kits and the part and all the instructions are included. Alternatively use a small drill bit, they will normally catch the pin and pull it out too, at the expense of the drill bit.

why not just use passat latches?
