Silver Bullet 0 Posted January 13, 2009 Hi all This is my very first post & i am trying to suss out the central locking on my 92 VR6, it has an imobiliser but no alarm on it. A few months ago the handle broke & i bought a complete new one & fitted it. It was fine for a couple of months but now it either: a. Works perfectly b.Does not work at all c.Locks from the drivers side & then either unlocks or locks itself. I have checked the pump & it seems to be operating fine (when its working well that is) All fuses seem to be fine & all other electrics are fine including the windows/switches. It has worked perfectly every day for the last four weeks but has failed again today, which is driving me crazy. KIPVW 0 Posted January 13, 2009 I sympathise mate as i'm having a nightmare too! so many things it could be though so i need to replace the loom in the door as it set on fire recently :( Try a search for some other ideas though as most faults have been covered before.
