was8v 0 Posted January 30, 2009 Just a quickie - maybe worth a stickie  If you want to check your car's history (or a potential purchase) then a quick call to VW customer care on 0800 0833 914 will let you know the service dates and mileages your car was serviced at VW dealers. Supercharged 2 Posted February 3, 2009 Any dealer will be able to print the history from the dialogue system... Always amusing to see how much your car broke down in the first few years of ownership - I've seen VR6's that have been towed more than 5 times and all it says is 'undiagnosed fault' Got to love Corrado's
was8v 0 Posted February 4, 2009 Any dealer will be able to print the history from the dialogue system... I rang my local dealer (cumberland view) and they said they couldn't tell me for data protection reasons, and they have moved to a new system (i think thasts the real reason). A call to VW as above and they did it off the chassis number.
Sonicriot13 0 Posted February 4, 2009 Data protection? Couldn't be bothered to look more likely. Mileage and service date information is contained in the service record anyway so it's hardly secure. My G60 has a service book but it hasn't been stamped once so I'm hoping it's not the original! Might ring that number and find out.
