Mark_Storm 0 Posted January 30, 2009 Just had a set of 288mm calipers refurbed up at Biggred and fitted to the car at a local garage. Garage have said the drivers side isn't releasing, they've stripped it twice but it didn;t fix the problem. Didn't think much could go wrong with calipers, and they'd have been tested at Biggred before they sent them out. Anyone got an idea what the problem could be? CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted January 30, 2009 Thats a rubbish garage you take your car to if they cant diagnose the fault. :confused4: standard hoses or new goodridge? Will the piston not go back? Has your standard hoses been crimped to remove caliper. Have they undone the bleed nipple to see if the brake releases?
Mark_Storm 0 Posted January 31, 2009 Goodridge hoses gone on now. One of the calipers is fine, the other is binding so it works but will just get the disc and pad burning hot on any long journeys
