Plug gap on my 2.0 8V

Recommended Posts

Well I have had my Corrado for a month and thought its time to treat her..

I have just purchased a plug set, leads, cap and rotor arm..Cost me 100 quid :? OUCH

I got a set of NGK plugs (BKUR6ET-10) and wondered if its safe to just the pre-set gap :confused4: If not does anyone have a manual stating what the gap should be

ignore that silly question :cuckoo: :cuckoo: Just got a plug out the box and they are those triple prong ones so therefore gap is pre-set.. :notworthy:

Yeah gaps are always preset these days...

£100 is a bit steep - would have been cheaper to get those bits from your VW dealer!

Tell me about it mate..And the lead going to the coil is FAR to short..Gonna pay em a visit on Monday..Also the plugs had a different socket head size and my plug socket only just fitted due to the counter bore in the head..Still all seems fine and it feels a lot smoother :D ..Just checked my air filter :( I was hanging, popped to Halfords and new one now in place..
