Correct G60 fan switch temperatures?

Got a new fan switch but it has different temps stamped on it....but which is correct? im sure its the lower numbers?

 

Grey switch:

1-84*

2-95*

 

Black switch:

1-95*

2-102* i think.

Im confused...

 

Just looked on etka, and there are two switches (early and late style) but they both have the temps 95/102 :scratch:

I'd have thought the 84 is too low, the thermostat is only just opened up at this temp so unless you live in death valley and have a lower temp stat the 95/104 will be fine.

 

what's the part no. of the low temp one, it may be from a different VW, AFAIK the only reason part no.s changed on the Corrados was where the loom and connector block type changed.

Aye, i thought the connector bit was as you say, and indeed it is 8)

 

It seems last time i bought a fan switch i was given one from a diesel lt van! Ill see if there is a part number on it as i know people tend to like these...Id rather have the right one though myself, like you say...stat won't know what its doing :lol:
