do i need a new gearbox

My problem is that when i go round corners i get a vibration from the front end im not sure if this is cv joints or the diff? how much play if any should there be in the diff mine has no up down play but does pull in and out about 5 mm.??is this normal.,

my engine is out at the moment and dont want to put it back in if i need to change it,.thanks for any help?/! :shrug:

Probably just a worn front wheel bearing, good time to change it if the engine is out.

ive already tried wheel bearings that didnt work ??
