mttaylor22 0 Posted March 4, 2009 ok, i have a 1990 G60, randomly when i drive it for an hour or more when it is warm out and then stop and shut it off. It will try to start and then stall out like a shortage of fuel. then i have to wait a little and it will start. any suggestions where to start. i had the fuel pressure tested and it is fine. Supercharged 2 Posted March 5, 2009 Hi, the fuel pump should run on with the rad fan when the engine is switched off to stop fuel getting to warn in the rail and help with warm starts. Do you know if this is happening? - there is a switch coming off the small fuel pipe at the gearbox side of the fuel rail that controls this.
