Electrical fault 1.8 16v (no electrical power)

I was wondering if any one has any advice on what could be wrong, the car lost electrical power instantly when goin back to car after half an hour of being fine. there is no power for any thing such as clock hazards radio lights etc yet the battery is fine and all earths appear to be fine??

I've seen a loose connection on the battery do this before, not on a Corrado though.

 

Disconnect both terminals, clean any corrosion and smear with petroleum jelly or similar and reconnect battery (-ve last). Fingers crossed it will work and be a cheap and easy fix.

this happened on mine too and it came to be a loosen battery tip (connector/wire/¿¿¿)

had a similar problem years ago, checked everything and it ended up being a faulty relay / connection onto relay box

 

i'd check there all stuck in properly

thanks for the replys, had look into it further and found it to be the main positive coming into the back of the fuse board which had burnt out, must have been loose to arc out so simply crimped on a new connector and its all sorted :D

nice one, good to get it sorted i bet, but why had it burnt out!!!
