thegreg 0 Posted May 9, 2009 Just sent my charger off today to Gwerks for a rebuild, and considering not putting the boost return back on, and blocking off the intake on the charger...(everything was very oily and dirty) I just wondered is any boost lost with not having it there? I mean it is essentially an opening in the throttle body, surely unfiltered air will either be drawn through it or just vent off boost at part throttle, it only fully closes at full. :scratch: Any opinions much appreciated! cheers Greg Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Anyway, pros and cons cons: oil vapour helps lube charger. boost return would also aid in breathig the engine. pro: hot air not being drawn into the G anymore. that's all i can think of. hth.
