I've emailed 5 people in the last week and not one has responded to my enquiries and that includes two traders!!

I found this add when it was only 30 mins old ( I think but it was very new) emaild the person who put it onto PH for the seller and got a reply in minets. unlucky about not getting any respones I know their was some one from shefield interested in it as well dont know if it is any one on here Looks very, very nice mate- well done! Cracking colour too 8) Get yourself a KR cam in there- must-do mod for a 2.0 16v and cheap to do 8) Thanks, I think we should organise a meet for owners round this area. I will look into that then, (noob question coming up ) what will the KR cam do to the car? :ignore:
CazzaVR 0 Posted May 17, 2009 It will give around 15 bhp and rev better. You can get the cam for around £20 and will be around 1 hour labour.Do a search ;) Good opportunity to change the rocker cover gasket while you're in there ;) Which local garages do you use? Blake Services in Thrupp near Stroud are very good- they've looked after my last 2.0 16v, VR6 and now my Octavia vRS.

Right ok, when it comes to engines ect I am a complete noob rocker cover gasket :confused4: I usaly go to one just down the road from me they are a small garage but never had any trouble from them I have looked at going to power 2 go, they are a small porformance type grage in Ross on wye, dont know if they are any good tho?? http://www.power2go.co.uk/ this is them
CazzaVR 0 Posted May 17, 2009 Not heard of them. TBH, I'd go with a VW specialist. There's a good (but quite pricey one) in Stonehouse, as well as Blake Services (as mentioned above :) ). There's also a very good place in Bristol called Streetwise, who I will try in the summer as their MOT/Service (using genuine parts) offer is amazing! CazzaVR 0 Posted May 17, 2009 Wot Tom said /\/\/\ They totally know their stuff. Really good guys who are both total enthusiasts themselves, which makes a big difference IMHO. Dave's car is pure genius!
