Removing the airbox

just looking for a bit ov advice really, i have the oppertunity to buy a bmc cda for £80 but was just wondering about fitment issues, does the original airbox have to be removed or not? and if so where does the fuel injectopn system go if the airbox is removed?

Regardless of engine yes the airbox will have to come off as it's a replacement air filter and it won't effect the fuel injection system at all :scratch: that's attached to the head, nothing to do with the airbox.

It is on the 16v....

Removing the air box wouldnt be the issue - the metering head would.

Dont think there is a way to loose the metering head and keep your injection system - sure sum1 on here will confirm that

Only option is a panel filter or the Stroeve induction kit which sucks in all the hot air from the engine bay.
