delfinis38 1 Posted June 7, 2009 After putting a new exhaust on the VR at the start of the year, I've been toying with the idea what to do with the old original one, thinking it might come in handy for a spare in the future. There was nothing really wrong with it not blowing or anything back box was mint. But the mid section needed some cosmetic work around the entrance and exit pipes (outer skin had started to rust). Yesterday as it was raining i decided to get the welder out and had quite a bit of success welding the hanger bracket back on and tidying the exhaust up in general. :D However it does need some filler in places to make it cosmetically look okay before spraying. Have any of you had success with the liquid metal fillers on exhaust ? I've used the Holt Gum gun or what ever it's called in the past with not much success as it seems to deteriorate over time to a powder. Suspect none of you have tried it with your shinny stainless exhaust  TIA
