Cobra mk2 subframes in a Rado???

I've used the search but does anybody have any experience of using mk2 subframes with Cobra buckets in a Rado?

 

I know they will be higher but how high?

 

To get some idea I swopped my drivers seat for a mates mk2 one but it was insanely high, I'm a fairly short dude but my head was nearly touching the roof! I wear a helmet on occassions for various track stuff and that takes even more headroom from me. Don't want to feel like I'm sitting in a kids booster

 

Any feedback would be hugely appreciated.

i think the only subframes are the side mount ones that keeps the seats the same height :( as said before the subframes plus the seats will make it even higher than the standard mk2 ones

Sidemounts!!!! I forgot all about those :)

 

That might very well be the answer to my problems, wanted to keep them on a slider but needs must I suppose
