Anyone know where the vagcom plugin point is?

Need to run some diagnostics, my mate has a licence and a lead, and need to plug into the car, anyone know where to do so??

Grab either side of the trim around of the gear surround (the bit with the Karmann badge on) and pull sharply upwards. The plug should be under there just under the front of the cubby hole in the center of the dash :)
