16v decat

Was looking to decat the 1.8 valver i just bought

it has a stainless system from the cat back so my first thought was to just cut the cat out and replace it with a bit of pit which i would weld in.

now the problem is, coming of the bottom of the manifold there is 2 pipes which go into the cat then 1 pipe come out the cat.

 

is there anyway around this without getting a new manifold?

1.8 16v's don't have cat convertors!

 

if ur looking performance gains either gasflow the stock exhaust manifold and get a full stainless system, or my preference get a four branch manifold and full system.

its already had a gas flowed inlet and exhause manifold aswell as a gti engineering head.

So i take it the box behind the manifold is some sort of silencer then?

 

Also where sells good manifolds for the 16v?
